Adeton - What is it?

Going straight to the point, Adeton is an android app (at the moment) that helps you create mini-websites for your business. Lets have a use case.

Say, you own a medium size enterprise that deal wholesale (mainly) and retail of electrical appliances. It will be highly recommended to have a site that showcases your products and services. But this is the case you either don’t know how to go about it, or you might be aware that it’s expensive to set up a website.

This is where Adeton comes in. Adeton requires you to just put in your shop details and products anytime, anywhere, and very easily then it creates a website for you.

Say your shop’s name is Dumsor Enterprise at Koforidua. You can create a site with Adeton that will have a site address like dumsor.kof

Or say you have a company with name Lexis Inc. at Dansoman. Your Adeton site address could be lexis.dsm.

The site address is actually entered by you. We don’t choose that for you.

So anyone with the Adeton app can just enter your site address (lexis.dsm or dumsor.kof) in the ASA bar and find your website in an instant.

Visit Adeton to download and know more.

Currently, Adeton is in alpha. This means, althought Adeton has most of its basic functionality, we need you to download, install and give us feedback on what went wrong or what we missed.

De-Great, as an Android developer

So it goes like a love story.

Who am I? Why was I born?!

Being a convention, everyone has a name. And I was given one. Degreat Yartey, it is. And I love it.

I grew up at Medie, a small town closer to Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region. But due to circumstances that can never be controlled, I have ended up living at Two-Streams which is also a small town at Koforidua in the Eastern Region. (Maybe, I am destined to live in small towns).

I am trying to survive; I use teaching as the engine of my survival. Currently, I teach in the same town as I live. The school being Bethel Preparatory School. I have been appointed to be the ICT teacher.

The love for programming, particularly Android applications, has also helped me to move on. Even though I reap no income from it, I known there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I would really love to be appointed in a mobile application development company or the telecommunications industry.

Graphics design is another thing I really love and can do well. Expertise in flat design, it is. Switching Adobe Illustrator has been the greatest thing in my life, but I don’t know why. Coreldraw wasn’t that professional looking to me.

At the end of it all, I have grown to love my one and only younger brother. :)
